Rome’s fountains go animal friendly

Rome's nasoni for animals.

Rome city authorities have developed an animal friendly “bowl” that has been attached to some of the capital’s most traditional public fountains, the nasoni.

The bowls allow dogs and cats, with or without owners and of all sizes, to drink easily from the fountains.

21 bowls have already been installed and others will be put in place during September. The city’s aim is to ensure the widest possible coverage throughout Rome.
