Rome embraces Instagram

Instagrammers promote Rome with hashtag #BellaRoma.

120 photographers from across Italy will gather in Rome on 16 December to document the capital's "unusual and fascinating itineraries" via the social network Instagram.
The Instagrammers will promote Rome through photographs and videos, posted in real time, and relaunched live from the profile of TurismoRoma, with the hashtag #BellaRoma.
Organised by the capital's tourism department, the initiative will see the Instagrammers guided around three main areas of Rome: Villa Torlonia, Coppedè and MACRO; Ostiense, Testaccio, Centrale Montemartini and Gazometro; and Celio, Villa Celimontana, S. Stefano Rotondo, S. Pietro in Vincoli, Italian Geographic Society and Case del Celio.
