Pope late for Angelus after getting stuck in lift
Pontiff got stuck in a lift for 25 minutes.
Pope Francis was late for the traditional midday appointment for the Angelus in St Peter's Square on 1 September, after getting stuck in an elevator for 25 minutes.
Apologising to the faithful for his late appearance, Pope Francis explained that he was rescued by firefighters, adding: "Give them a round of applause."
