New Romans exhibition in Rome’s subway
The city of Rome has launched a multimedia exhibition called Romans of Europe: new Romans, new Italians, new Europeans from 22 September to 23 October. The exhibition tells the stories of ten foreigners living and working in the capital.
Now residents of Rome, the ten people featured in the exhibition hail from the countries that acceded most recently to the EU, namely: Bulgaria and Romania (2007) and Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Malta, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia (2004).
Through video documentary, text and photographs, the exhibition seeks to improve Italy
