Rome cat colony in Testaccio can be visited each afternoon.
One of Rome's main cat sanctuaries is located in the grounds of the Pyramid of Caius Cestius, beside the Non-Catholic Cemetery, in the city's Testaccio district.
I Gatti della Piramide is run entirely by a team of dedicated volunteers and the cat colony can be visited on Viale del Campo Boario each day of the week, including Sundays, from 14.00-16.00 (including Sundays).For more information about the cats and the work of the sanctuary see the Gatti della Piramide website or Facebook page or contact the volunteers directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
