4-5 May. Urbanitas is a two-day forum promoting a discussion on the future of Rome, with experts putting forward concrete proposals for a sustainable, resilient and creative city.
The event takes place as part of the sixth edition of Open House Roma which grants free access to dozens of normally inaccessible buildings in Rome over the weekend of 6-7 May.
The forum will focus on five key themes: Città Condivisa (Governance e beni comuni), Città Creativa (Distretti culturali), Città Attiva (Urban Center e co-design), Città Sostenibile (progetto pilota Appia Antica), Città Mobile (Mobilità sostenibile), Città Responsabile (Economia circolare e spreco alimentare).
The conference takes place at the MAXXI Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo on 4 May and at the Sala convegni AIL, on Via Casilina 5, on 5 May. For full details see website.
