17-19 Jan. In Press, choreography by P. Rigal. Pierre Rigal is a French dancer and former athlete whose work focusses on the absurdity and pathos of the human condition.
In Press he explores how our personal space is confined by the pressures of modern life, performing in a specially constructed boxed stage less than three and a half metres wide. He sets himself a Houdini-esque choreographic challenge, which evolves into an extraordinary feat of physical prowess and daring.
