International artists and top names in contemporary Italian dance are at Teatro Verdi and the abbey of S. Zeno in Pisa for the citys first dance festival. On 20 Feb Compagnia Michele Pogliani performs in Coppelia based on a true story, choreography by Federica Mastrangeli and Pogliani. On 25 Feb Compagnia Virgilio Sieni Danza is in Il Funambulo, choreography by Sieni. On 4 March the company Botega presents Astamanra, choreography by Enzo Celli. Future highlights include Pilobolus Dance Theatre in March and the State Ballet of Moscow performing Giselle in May. Until 11 May.
