Rome's Biblioteca Apollinaire offers maximum of five books per person.
The Apollinaire Library of the Università degli Studi di Roma Tre is giving away free books throughout July, from its city-centre base at Piazza di Campitelli 3.
The books, many of which are in French, the rest in Italian, are doubles. The library is offering them for free to avoid them being discarded.
The library is open from Monday to Friday, 09.00-14.00, and readers are entitled to a maximum of five books each. For more details tel. 0657334401 / 02 or see the library's Facebook page.
