Mobile number portability remains a mirage.
Mobile telephone subscribers in Italy may have to wait a bit longer before they can transfer their number smoothly and quickly from one operator to another after the Lazio regional administrative court cancelled a deliberation by the communications authority Agcom giving telcoms companies a maximum of three days to make the transfer from when the initial request is made and banning them from interrupting the operation once started. Currently the transfer is meant to take five days although in practice it can often take much longer
