Lady Diana 1961 -1997
On the night of 31 August 1997, Diana Spencer, Dodi Al-Fayed and the driver of their car, Henri Paul, died in a car accident near the Pont de l'Alma in Paris.
Despite the first choice of a private funeral, since Diana was no longer a Royal Highness, the sudden and unexpected reaction of the English people, dismayed and in tears for the loss of the beloved princess, pushed the royal house to accept the public funeral.
In the photo, flowers and tributes of the English people for Lady D at Kensington.
