Costner and Bollywood stars to appear during penultimate day of the Rome Film Festival
Kevin Costner is the star of the show on Friday 24 October at the ninth edition of the Rome Film Festival which is based at the Auditorium Parco della Musica until 25 October.
The Oscar-winner meets the audience during the Studio Universal Cinechat at 16.00 followed by the screening of his latest film, Black and White by Mike Binder. The movie explores racial tensions and a custody-battle over the bi-racial child of lawyer Elliot Anderson (Costner).
In the evening there is the premiere of Bollywood movie Haider, the new film by Indian director Vishal Bhardwaj, which will be screened in the Sala Sinopoli at 21.30. Prior to the screening Bollywood stars Vishal Bhardwaj and Shahid Kapoor share the red carpet with the dancers from the BollyMasala Dance Company.
There are also a number of interesting screenings during the day at the Cinema Barberini and the MAXXI Museo Nazionale delle Arti del XXI secolo.
