Thanksgiving events for Rome’s international community
Thanksgiving events in Rome on Thursday 22 November begin with the celebration of Mass at 10.30 at America’s Catholic Church in Rome, S. Susanna on Via XX Settembre 15.
The American International Club of Rome (AICR) is hosting a Thanksgiving meal at the InterContinental Hotel on Via Sistina that night at 20.00.
Vivi Bistrot, in the picturesque surroundings of Villa Pamphili, is serving an ecologically-friendly traditional Thanksgiving buffet menu from 20.30.
More informal Thanksgiving celebrations take place at The Hard Rock Cafe on Via Veneto 62; the American-style bar and grill The Perfect Bun at Largo del Teatro Valle 4; and The Abbey Theatre pub on Via del Governo Vecchio 151 serves an à la carte Thanksgiving dinner and will be screening NFL games at 18.30 and 22.15.
The American embassy in Rome, the city’s American universities and a number of international schools are closed for the US national holiday.
