The marathon fever is not over yet in Rome. Everything is ready for the 21km Rome half marathon, that begins at 11.00 on Saturday 28 June. Meeting place is in Via dei Campi Sportivi, near the Paolo Rosi stadium, at 10.30. The route will cover the area between Acqua Acetosa, the Auditorium, Flaminio-Belle Arti and Villa Borghese, and then end up again at the Paolo Rosi stadium.
The event is organised by the Italia Marathon Club together with Atielle Roma srl. Participants must have a valid FIDAL card, or equivalent. Maximum time allowed to complete the race is two hours, 30 minutes. Individual prizes will be awarded for best performances. There will be changing rooms at the stadium, as well as refreshment points and First Aid stations along the route. Water and sponges will also be provided.
Side events include a visit to a special Adidas store inside the Paolo Rosi stadium and music entertainment on Saturday night, along the race course. A shuttle service to Termini train station will be available at the end of the marathon.
