Singer Michael Stipe and the rest of the boys from Athens, Georgia will be performing their latest album Around the sun with the hit-single Leaving New York for their legions of fans. With Stipe never shy of addressing the most pressing personal and public topics of the day, the new album reflects the current state of events around the world, particularly those topics which are important to the band, who have always tried to transport also a message through their music. Whether or not concert-goers can quite grasp what that message is remains to be seen given Stipes infamous mumbling vocal style and complex lyrical edge. Scheduled to start at 20:00.
