The Guillermo de Osm gallery is currently exhibiting 65 ground-breaking works by artists belonging to the generation of 27. The Historical Vanguards (1910-1940) exhibition features many important paintings from the period right after World War One to the times of the Spanish Civil War known as the Silver Age of Spanish Culture. The selection provides a panoramic view of this great movement, with works by artists, many of them related to the literary generation, including Dal, Hairdo, Alberti, Ismael Gonzlez de la Serna, Maria Blanchard and Torres-Garca. The gallery is dedicated to paintings from the 17th to the 20th centuries and features artists from Spain, Europe and Latin America.
