14-28 March 2005.

The Ether Festival is an annual event at Londons Royal Festival Hall at the South Bank Centre now in its fourth year. Ether is a celebration of performing artists whose live shows break new boundaries through cross collaborations with other artists and the experimental new technologies. Such prominent acts as Kraftwerk and Squarepusher have appeared at Ether at previous editions of the festival. The remaining line up includes experimentalist duo Matmos on Saturday 19 March, known for their use of unusual hand-crafted instruments like buckets of porridge, with Charlemagne Palestine, Cyclobe, Ikue Mori and Zeena Parkins in support. Radioheads Jonny Greenwood accompanied by the London Sinfonietta finish off the festival on 27 and 28 March playing an Arab-influenced music. Ticket prices vary.
