The Palazzo Anagrafe in Via Luigi Petroselli 50 has been reopened to the public after more than a year of restoration. The building, which belongs to the city council, is the registry office for all births, marriages and deaths of in Romes historic centre. Residents in the historic centre also apply here for all documents and certificates regarding their residence and their family status, for identity cards and for licences for commercial activities.
During the restoration local residents have had to travel to other council offices to conduct their bureaucratic affairs. The offices are now open as follows:-
Demographic affairs; Monday-Friday 08.30-12.30, Tuesday and Thursday 14.00 -16.00.
Public Relations office; Monday, Wednesday and Friday 08.30 -12.30.
Tuesday 08.30-12.30 and 14.30-17.00; Thursday; 08.30-17.00.
The Commercial office: for artisans, shops, bars, restaurants and hotels
has moved to the second floor and is open on Tuesday and Wednesday 09.00-12.30 and Thursday from 09.00-16.00.
The Social Services office. Monday-Friday 08.30-12.30, Tuesday 08.30-12.30 and14.30-16.30, Thursday 08.30-16.30.
Window H, for problems of the disabled, Monday, Wednesday and Friday 08.30 -13.00, Tuesday and Thursday 08.30-13.00 and 14.00-16.30.
The Housing office. Tuesday 08.30-12.30 and 14.30-16.30 and Thursday 08.30 16.30
The Family office. Monday, Wednesday and Friday 09.0013.00, Tuesday and Thursday 09.0015.00.
