Air travel strike by Alitalia reduced and postponed until 6 September.
A 24-hour strike by Alitalia pilots and flight attendants, scheduled originally for Friday 26 July, has been postponed until Friday 6 September, according to Italian news agency ANSA.
Trade unions representing Alitalia workers postponed their industrial action following appeals from Italy's strike watchdog and the transport ministry.
In addition the strike has been reduced from 24 hours to four hours, timing to be announced.
