6-29 April. MAC Maja Arte Contemporanea presents The Beyond and The Other, a collective exhibition of six photographs and three paintings by Italian artists Veronica Della Porta, Olivier Fermariello, and Gianfranco Toso, from 6-29 April.

Della Porta's black-and-white photographs bypass the bustle of daily life to focus on the silent, vibrant presence of architectural shapes.

Inspired by early 20th-century family portraits, Fermariello's series Air de Famille examines the formal yet intimate relationship between the photographer and his grandparents.

Toso's paintings rely on geometric shapes to explore the tensions between concrete, metaphysical and imaginative dimensions.
