This massive frieze-style painting tells the story of the oil production chain, from the well to the refinery, and includes workers, technicians and laboratory scientists in different times and settings. The acrylic on canvas is the work of the Spanish realist artist Xavier Bueno who made Italy his home for the last 40 years of his life, dying in Fiesole in 1979.
