29 July-2 Aug. Luglio Suona Bene draws to a close with a concert by Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk on 29 July, followed by 2 Cellos (31 July), then an unexpected break from the festival's pop/rock tradition with an orchestral production of Carmina Burana (1 Aug), and concluding with a cabaret performance by Roman actor Gigi Proietti (2 Aug).

In the 13 years since it began, Luglio Suona Bene has gained a sturdy reputation for its wide-ranging programme which alternates between pop, rock, jazz, electronic and world music.

Concerts take place in the evenings in the central open-air arena known as the Cavea at the Auditorium Parco della Musica.
