20-27 Oct. Conducted by David Garforth and choreography by Patricia Ruanne to the Jean Coralli, Jules Perrot original with Amandine Albisson, Mathias Heymann, Gaisa Straccamore and Manuel Paruccini. This is a Teatro dell'Opera di Roma production. Ruanne was a former principal dancer at the Royal Ballet and the London Festival Ballet and ballet mistress at the Paris Opera. Rudolf Nureyev created the role of Juliet for Ruanne in his version of Romeo and Juliet and she has also worked with Kenneth Macmillan and George Ballachine. Albisson and Meymann, are both stars of the Opéra de Paris.
