In Giselle, choreography by Patrice Bart from Coralli/Perrot. This is a traditional and straightforward staging of the enduring classic Giselle, with choreography based on the 1841 original version of Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot and its subsequent adaptation by Marius Petipa.

Created for the Rome company by Patrice Bart, it boasts exquisite staging, understanding and respect of the Romantic ballet style. However it demands technical excellence and emotionally powerful performances by the cast. Whether the Rome corps de ballet is up to it remains to be seen.
