20 Sept-28 Oct. The 2012 edition of FotoGrafia – the Rome International Photography Festival –confirms the event’s growing international prestige and continues to promote contemporary photography in its various forms and languages. It also stays true to its mission to give space to emerging talents. The theme of this 11th edition is “Work”:  a keyword in the history of photography, as well as a fundamental concept in a society and culture marked by profound changes. As always, exhibitions by prizewinners of a series of new projects will feature alongside shows by famous artists.

A wide range of public and private galleries, museums and city spaces are involved in the festival that also foresees a number of performances and events. The heart of the festival beats at the city’s contemporary art museum in Testaccio which also provides a stage for encounters and slide-shows.
