This annual contemporary music festival focuses on electro-acoustic this year, as well as on music from eastern Europe and on women musicians.

The inaugural event is at the French Academy Villa Medici on 12 Nov with the Ensemble Orchestral Contemporain and music by Gerard Grisey, Philippe Leroux, Sebastian Rivas and Bruno Mantovani.

There are also concerts at the American Academy's Villa Aurelia, the Forum Austriaco di Cultura, the Goethe Institut, the Accademia Filarmonica Romana, Auditorium Parco della Musica. As well as concerts there are master classes and a seminar workshop on composition by Estonia's Tovio Tulev at S. Cecilia (Via dei Greci) in December.
