Rome-based English dancer and choreographer Rachael Mossom is holding a dance workshop titled Fatte du'passi in Rome from 12-13 October.

The workshop culminates in an afternoon performance on Via dei Fori Imperiali, as part of the programme for the second Giornata del Camminare (Day of Walking).

Mossom says the workshop and performance will be centred around the theme of walking: "We all walk, everyone walks in their own way and in their own time, every style of walking is interesting because it is unique."

The choreography will come to life following an analysis of the gait of each participant, none of whom requires dance experience, just a desire to move and have fun.

Organised by GIAMP theatrical agency, the event has been created in collaboration with Federtreck, the Italian body that promotes hiking, walking and cycling.
