1 April 2010. In Ravel evening: Homefront, Wien, Prelude to Night and Bolero, choreographies by P. Rioult. A former member of the Martha Graham Dance Company and a student of Merce Cunningham, Pascal Rioult founded his company in 1991.

As the title of the evening suggests, all four dances on the programme are set to the music of Maurice Ravel. Wien is set to La Valse; in Homefront, Rioult takes his cue from the fact that Ravel dedicated each movement of Le Tombeau de Couperin to a comrade who fell during world war one; in Bolero, Rioult has mirrored the repetitive structure of the music; and in Prelude to Night Rioult portrays
