The seventh edition of IrishFilmFesta screens Black Ice on Friday 28 March at 21.00.

The story of tragic youthful misadventure is set against the backdrop of a lawless rural border region in Ireland during the dying days of the Celtic Tiger economic boom.

Directed by Johnny Gogan, starring Jane McGrath, Dermot Murphy and Killian Scott, known to many as "Tommy" from the hit Irish television series Love/Hate.

The IrishFilmFesta takes place from 27-30 March at the Casa del Cinema in the Via Veneto corner of Villa Borghese.
