Exploro.it, a multimedia application for smartphones which provides information and services, has been launched in Rome. Comprising a system of touchscreen icons, in addition to directing users to the nearest train station, post office or police station, the programme contains a wide range of suggested events, itineraries or interesting cultural places to visit.

The application is available to download and its large volume of data is updated on a daily basis. Registration for the service is both free and interactive, with members being able to add reviews, share their opinions via Facebook and Twitter, and send feedback to Exploro.it.
