Rome’s B1 metro line opens
Rome's new metro line B1 opened at 05.30 on 13 June, after almost seven years in construction.
An offshoot of the Metro B line, the B1 begins at Piazza Bologna, with stops at S.Agnese/Annibaliano and Libia, and finishes at Conco d'Oro.
This means that northbound commuters boarding the metro before Bologna should check the display monitors on the platform to see whether the train is headed for its terminus at Rebibbia or in the direction of Conco d'Oro. Announcements of the train
