Getting married at the Colosseum?
New wedding locations in Rome possible.
Rome could soon be inviting tenders for additional locations for civil weddings. In order to qualify the location must be of historic, cultural, scenic or tourist interest and must already have the right facilities for weddings. One could be the Colosseum if the ministry for culture approves. The idea to increase the present four sites to a maximum of 20 comes from the councillor for commerce, Marta Leonori, in the outgoing city government.
