ADMISSION & INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS RECRUITING

College of Higher Education based in Rome, requires an English mother tongue collaborator for the Admission Office with an excellent knowledge of Italian language. The Admission Officer promotes international recruitment from direct applicants, agents and overseas partner institutions, visits schools and colleges, give presentations, participates in students recruitment fairs, counsels students and other marketing related activities. Must be sensitive to cultural differences and have an empathy with international students. Educated to degree level or equivalent, must have strong interpersonal skills and experience of working in a Higher Education environment with international students.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recruit qualifying Home/EU and International students for the European School of Economics.

• Pursue appropriate recruitment strategies in ESE’s key markets.

• The first point of contact for course inquiries, interview students and make decisions in the context of the admissions criteria.

• Organise various events such as open days.

• Participate in developing promotional material and web pages.

• Represent the school at various gatherings, conferences and educational fairs.

• Manage very good relationships with ESE’s overseas representatives (agents), working closely with them in order to recruit students.

• Undertake recruitment visits within the UK and overseas and provide reports on these activities to senior management.

• Participate in weekly internal marketing and recruitment meetings. Duties and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• Fluency in both written and spoken English (Mother Tongue or Excellent Level) and Italian (Excellent or good Level)

• Proactive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Great communication skills, as well as good organizational skills

• Excellent time management and understanding of priorities

• Ability to manage enquiries through the phone and email from students all over the world

• Ability to work well as a part of a team with colleagues of various nationalities

• Ability to manage own workload and work within strict time restraints

• Experience in planning, advertising, and executing events

• Ability in organizing data and preparing reports

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (MS Word, Excel and Power Point) and familiarity with publishing software.

Additional information:

• All applicants must be authorized to work in Italy as will not sponsor candidates for working visas.

• Minimum Education Level: University Degree (preferably in marketing & communication or equivalent)

• Minimum Career Level : Experienced
