Adjunct Faculty in Environmental Science

The General Education program at The American University of Rome seeks applications from qualified candidates for part-time, non-tenure-track Adjunct Faculty teaching opportunity in the Spring 2018 semester, with possible additional courses in future semesters.

The successful candidate will teach ENV 103: Environmental Science, an introductory-level laboratory course in science for liberal arts students.

The course is currently scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:15-7:05pm and enrolls 12-15 students.

The ideal candidate(s) will hold an advanced degree in Biology or Environmental Science and will have experience in teaching laboratory courses. Recent teaching experience in the US higher education system is desirable. English fluency mandatory; Mother tongue English preferred.
