Parioli

Description

Parioli, which was built in the 1930s, has always been considered the zone of the affluent, socialite Romans. There are some attractive parts, for example the side that runs along Villa Borghese and around Piazzale dell Muse, but otherwise Parioli is rather characterless. Public transport is scarce, although there is a train that runs from Piazza Euclide to Piazzale Flaminio. Parioli, home ot a number of embassies, is over-valued for what it has to offer. You will find a few good restaurants and trendy clubs and bars. The new music auditorium, or Parco della Musica, designed by the architect Renzo Piano, has brought new life to an otherwise souless part of the city.
