Once considered one of the zones with the highest crime rates in Rome, the Magliana is being transformed into a quiet and respectable residential zone. Close to the airport and to the modern suburb of EUR, Magliana is linked to the rest of the city by the underground, which will take you to the centre of Rome in a few minutes. Mainly built of low-cost housing, it can now be considered a bargain residential option. There are supermakets and numerous other commercial activites.
